 We had the pleasure of attending lunch at the Glenmore Country Club, to hear our Chamber's Chairman Rod Gentry offer an outline of the "Chamber Focus" while Glenn Rust President & CEO of Virginia National Bank welcomed members of the Chamber of Commerce. The featured speaker was Bernard Niemeier, President & Publisher of Virginia Business magazine. The event was highlighted by the presentation of Chamber Hovey S. Dabney Award for Corporate Citizenship to Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Central Virginia.

 On February 23, FORWARD/Adelante attended breakfast at The Shebeen, hosted by the Charlottesville Nework Group (CNG) and its Founder Stephen Landis. The special guest was Charlottesville's Mayor David Norris who candidly spoke about the "state of the city" while taking questions from the audience. Great event!
